Pulsed Radiofrequency to the Occipital Nerve

Occipital neuralgia, upper neck pain and headache are common complaints linked with degenerative changes in the structures of the cervical spine (or neck). Pulsed radiofrequency treatment to the occipital nerve can help to ease the pain of this condition, and associated scalp pain and sensitivity. It is a minimally invasive procedure which can be repeated to maximise the pain relieving benefits.

Please note this video shows pulsed radiofrequency at a different location to the occipital nerve, this video illustrates the procedure technique.
